Evert van Gelderen is specialist op het gebied van de intellectuele eigendom & commerciële contracten. Hij is founding partner van Clairfort.
Als intellectueel eigendom advocaat houdt Evert zich bezig met auteursrecht, merkenrecht, handelsnaamrecht, modellenrecht en portretrecht. Hij adviseert onder meer over de bescherming van namen en producten en procedeert over inbreuk op intellectuele eigendom en counterfeit. Daarnaast begeleidt hij bij het uitonderhandelen en opstellen van commerciële contracten, zoals exploitatie- en licentieovereenkomsten en IT-contracten. Hij staat nationale en internationale ondernemingen bij uit verschillende branches, onder meer in de mode & cosmetica, IT, speelgoed, automotive en huishoudelektronica.
Voordat hij in oktober 2017 Clairfort oprichtte was hij partner bij Banning Advocaten te Den Bosch en bij De Gier | Stam & Advocaten in Utrecht. Bij beide kantoren was Evert verantwoordelijk voor de sectie intellectuele eigendom.
Verder geeft Evert regelmatig lezingen op zijn vakgebied, zit hij in de redactie van IE-forum.nl en the Copyright Lawyer Magazine en is hij regelmatig te gast bij BNR nieuwsradio. Evert is ondernemend, vakkundig, vriendelijk en open-minded.
